Workshop procedure for parents

PLEASE READ THESE CONDITIONS BEFORE REGISTERING:

• Workshops are offered in French only.

• Workshops are strictly reserved for separated parents (original or adoptive) of at least one child aged 17 and under.

• Partners are not admitted to workshops.

• Co-parents may not attend the same workshop sessions, regardless of the level of mutual relationship.

• Mandatory individual pre-workshop telephone discussion: following the receipt of a registration form, our project manager will contact the participant by e-mail to arrange a ten-minute telephone meeting to explain how the workshops will be unfold. This meeting is mandatory to attend the Petit Pont workshops.

• Absence: we ask participants to inform us as soon as possible if they are unable to attend a workshop for which they have registered: (450) 448-3732 ext. 204 or ateliers@petitpont.org 

• Confirmation of attendance: a few days before a workshop session, participants will receive an e-mail requesting confirmation of their attendance. It is imperative to confirm attendance at a workshop. If a participant has not confirmed his or her attendance, he or she will be considered absent.

• Lateness : we ask participants to inform us as soon as possible if they are going to be late for a workshop: 450-448-3732, ext. 204. We may refuse access to the workshop if you arrive too late.

• Cancellation or rescheduled workshop: a minimum number of participants is required for the workshop to take place, so it may be postponed or cancelled if the minimum is not reached. In the event of force majeure (illness, storm, epidemic, etc.) a session or the entire workshop will be postponed or cancelled. Participants will be informed by e-mail or telephone as soon as possible.

• Fees: voluntary contribution on the day of the workshop (cash or credit card).

• Mandatory identification: photo ID will be required at the start of the first workshop session.

• Certificate: participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the workshop. Certain conditions apply. Usually, participants must attend the entire workshop, show a completed assignment and hand in a satisfaction evaluation. These conditions may change depending on the workshop and will be communicated to participants during the telephone discussion with the project manager and at the start of the workshop.
